OUR HURLING TEAM
Ranelagh Gaels Men’s Hurling has developed rapidly in recent seasons, with the team making significant strides both on and off the pitch. The squad played its first-ever adult Championship match in 2022, followed by its inaugural League campaign in 2023—important milestones that marked the beginning of a strong and ambitious hurling journey for the club.
Since then, the team has continued to progress impressively. In 2025, Ranelagh Gaels secured promotion in both League and Championship, capping the year with a remarkable Championship title win. This achievement reflects the hard work of the players, the growth of hurling in the club, and the commitment of a dedicated coaching group that continues to raise standards each season.
With increasing numbers, improved structures, and a growing base of talented young players coming through, the club now aims to field two adult hurling teams in 2026. This expansion reflects both the momentum within the group and the strong demand from players in the wider community.
The environment is competitive, supportive and welcoming—ideal for players who want to push themselves or return to the game after time away.
