Wise Words From Dean Rock

Dublin footballer Dean Rock
Dublin footballer and six-time All-Ireland winner Dean Rock held an online questions and answers session for our Under-12s boys footballers recently.

Dean was so generous with his time and everyone involved with the team and the club really appreciated the effort he made.

He had some great advice for our young footballers, saying:  "Enjoy your football and play with a smile on your face. Love what you do and practice with a smile on your face - even if you make a mistake, no grumpy faces.

"When I was younger, I wasn't as strong as some of the other players on my team and that upset me sometimes, but people grow and get stronger at different ages so it's important not to lose faith. Focus on yourself and try to improve your skills."
